The
Manor Inn & Restaurant
Douglas and Sue offer you a warm
welcome to the newly refurbished Manor Inn and restaurant in
Lower Ashton close to the river Teign in Devon and considered
to be one of the best kept secret eating and watering holes
in the area.
Inside you will find a relaxed ambience full of style and comfort
and as a member of CAMRA
our bar stocked with a fine selection of real cask ales such
as Pitchfork and Teignworthy Reel.
Our restaurant has a smart interior, with crisp white napkins,
and a menu offering gastronomic lunches and evening meal delicacies
using Devon's finest produce with seafood being one of our specialities.
Outside we have a garden with shaded tables and chairs where
one can eat and drink while enjoying the spectacular views over
the local countryside.
The Manor Inn's
new head chef Simeon Baber has cooked in some of the finest
establishments in Devon as well as cooking for the Queens mother,
Prince Charles, John Major and Judy Dench to name but a few
and now takes real pleasure in bringing to the Manor Inn 'good
honest food with a difference' using local produce that always
reflects the season.
With a well thought out wine list to compliment your menu which
regularily changes, along with a high level of service, one
can look forward to food cooked to perfection and an evening
of something just that little bit special.
